Communication in society

The concept of communication in society includes many activities in the area, such as education, surveys, rituals etc. The scope of communication in society is presented as very extensive, covering all areas of social work. Claude Levi Strauss believes that “can be interpreted society as a whole as a theory of communication: communication of women, communication of goods and services, communicating messages and therefore the study of kinship system, of the economic and linguistic system offers certain analogies”. Edward T. Hall identifies ten primary systems of communication within social life, such as: interaction, association, subsistence, bisexuality, territoriality, temporality, knowledge of the game, the defense of natural raw materials. All sectors of social life can be analyzed in terms of communication, which does not mean that society is reduced to communication only.

Communication in education

Youth-formative educational institutions in particular play an important role in society, because a high percentage of the population is engaged in this field, either as teachers or as pupils or students. Therefore, the volume of communication activity in this area is remarkable in comparison with other established sectors. The role of education is to transmit from one generation to the next the matured experience. As such, I also noted the usefulness and the educational role of channels, programs and cultural programs of the school organized through the media, that it can not be forgotten as no direct connection means for the development and optimization of education by correspondence.

Communication in politics

In the broad sense, political communication designate what members of a society think and say, that is public opinion. Political institutions in turn generate specific communications, as follows:

  • communication from citizens to power, which is the vote;
  • communication of power to the citizens expressed through propaganda, different programs, etc.;
  • communication between states, diplomacy.

Of course, politics can not be analyzed only in terms of behavior, but recorded and crises or conflicts, including violence can be interpreted as a form of communication. A strike, any street demonstration, a terrorist act, each represents a communication group or groups participating opinion. An act of terrorism is also often the sole purpose to enter the media attention, to communicate certain information. War itself, in its forms, can be a form of communicating preparation for rehabilitation of balance or a previous state, to assert an international political will to impose by force a new order.

Communication in Economics

Communication in the economy, which is established between buyer and seller for example, the source, the free market, etc.

Regrouping RELATIONS between the two gives rise market, which is nothing but a dialogue of supply and demand. Economic exchanges gave rise to a domain-specific communication and language specific objects. Objects have significance both in production, the possession and the consumer.

Communication and Space
